What is P.B.I.S?
P.B.I.S is a research-based, proactive systems approach that teaches school-wide expected behaviors in all areas.
Why do we need P.B.I.S?
- It meets the behavioral side of the state-mandated RtI model .
- It is a proactive systems approach based on learning rather than punishment .
- It is an evidence-based practice that uses data to make decisions.
- It creates a safe environment which will facilitate student academic achievement.
Who will be involved in P.B.I.S?
P.B.I.S. is a school-wide approach. This means that everyone in the school is involved: students, teachers, support staff, and parents.
