A Message From Mrs. Ankrom
Dear Hoover community,
It was wonderful to see so many of our Hoover families attending our winter conferences. We hope you enjoyed your Student-Led Conference last week. Our students work extremely hard on a daily basis and it is always rewarding to see them explain their insights on their individual school experience, as well as discuss their strengths and the areas they would like to grow in. Thank you for taking time to attend your child’s conference and for celebrating your child’s achievements.
Hoover staff and students enjoyed our PBIS whole school celebration on Thursday, February 15. Each teacher stood up and recognized their Herbie Hero of the month. Students who have received Smencils this month were also recognized. We were fortunate to have a few highlights at the assembly; Mrs. Mendoza’s class had a few student authors read their writing pieces, the kindergartners sang an ABC song that they had been working on in music, and a few members of the 5th grade class displayed their drum playing ability. It was a great way to start off a conference weekend!
