A Message from Mrs. Rosenblum

Dear HMSA Families,

It is our pleasure to welcome you to the Hoover Math and Science Academy  for the 2018-19 school year.  While there is still plenty of summer left to enjoy, the HMSA staff is already looking forward to an amazing year together. We wanted to share some important dates with you for your calendar.

Being new to Hoover, I can’t wait to get to know you and your children. I have scheduled two opportunities to meet families before school starts. Families can come play at the park behind the school and I will be there to introduce myself and get to know you. I hope you will be able to stop by! I can’t wait to hear about your summer adventures. A few highlights from my summer included spending time with my kids at a lake house in Wisconsin, a trip to Nashville with my husband, Steve, and my parents came from Ohio to visit for a week. My oldest son, Chad, is going off to college in August-I can’t believe it!

The HMSA staff is dedicated to bringing out the very best in your child(ren) and helping them achieve their highest potential. Throughout the summer our staff members have already been hard at work preparing to ensure your child’s success. Staff devoted time this summer attending trainings, reading professional books, planning curriculum, and will soon be getting their classrooms ready to create an amazing learning environment for students.   We are all anxiously awaiting their arrival, and we know this year will be filled with endless opportunities to open doors to new learning.

Here are a few updates and reminders in preparation for the school year:
