Students in Room 211 came back from winter break ready to set goals and smaller actionable steps that’ll set them up for success the rest of the year. We have also spent a lot of our time reflecting and solidifying our current class agreements to continue to make this their “best year yet” at Hoover. In our academics, one of the recent highlights has been the writing assignment where students are taking the perspective of their Chromebooks and writing argumentative pieces to convince their owner to agree with their claim. The creative claims and voice in their writing has been top notch, and this isn’t even their final assignment! Next week will will rotate from learning all about weather in science to learning about ancient India in social studies, and we can’t wait!
