Spring In-Person MAP Assessment
This spring we will test kindergarten through eighth grade students using the MAP assessment tool. The MAP testing window is from May 3-14. The computer-based assessment will be administered to students in-person because we know that the most reliable administration and data point comes when students are tested in-person. The purpose of the assessment is to continue to obtain data points on our students and to continue to plan for instruction that meets the needs of each student.

With the testing being in-person on assigned days/times it will be important for the school to partner with families to help this process be as successful as possible.

Important Details on the Spring  MAP Assessment

  • Students will be seated with a minimum of 3 feet of social distance.
  • Masks will be required.
  • Remote students are invited to the building to test
  • Parents or caregivers of remote-only students will be responsible for transporting students to and from school on their testing day/time.
  • Communication to remote students regarding the date and time of the assessment will be coming from the school.
  • MAP testing does require great focus and stamina on the part of the students; therefore on the days your child is testing there will not be additional instruction.

SEL Survey for Parents

District 54 is committed to ensuring not only the academic success of each child, but also their social-emotional wellbeing. Similar to this winter, we are asking for your insight as a parent/guardian in creating the most well rounded picture of your child’s strengths and opportunities for growth. To gather your perspective, District 54 will send families of students in grades 3-8 an email link for each child to the D54 Social Emotional Learning Survey on Monday, April 26th.  Thank you in advance for participating in this survey, as we believe the home-school collaboration is critical to best support your child’s overall well-being.

Registration for 2021-2022

Registration for the 2021-22 school year opened on Monday, March 29th through the Infinite Campus Portal. Please login to review the current information and make any necessary changes. If you do not have a portal account, you should have received an email on March 13th inviting you to create one.

As a reminder, all families are required to prove that they live within District 54 boundaries every year.
