Good Morning Hoover Families!
Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow, Wednesday, October 30th will be a half day. Students will be dismissed at 11:40 tomorrow and there will be no lunch at school.
On Thursday, October 31st we will plan on celebrating Halloween. Please review the details below regarding the festivities:
Parade: Weather permitting, we will have a parade starting at 1:15. The parade will start as the students exit the building through Door 8. They will walk on the sidewalks following the route shown in the map below. Students will walk around the perimeter of the parking lot and will re-enter the building using Door 1. There will be many locations for parents to watch the parade. All spectators must leave the sidewalks clear for our students. In the event of inclement weather, we will not have a parade.
Our parking lot will be closed from 1:10 through the end of the parade. No cars will be allowed to enter or exit during this time.
Class Parties: Class parties will be planned and facilitated by our PTA room representatives. Class parties will be held from 1:30-2:40. The only adults who can attend the classroom party are the PTA room representatives who have signed up through the PTA.
Costumes:
- Students in Grades 1-6 will need to bring their costumes to school. Students in Grades 1-6 should not wear costumes or makeup to school. Students will need to be able to put on their costume over their clothes. Students will NOT be able to change in the bathrooms.
