In Literacy, We are learning about Marco Polo and his adventures on the Silk Road from Italy to China. Did you know that the Silk Road is 4,000 miles long?
In Writing, We are writing an argumentative article about a change we want at Hoover.
In Math, Some of us just took the volume and surface area of composite 3D shapes test while the others are learning about volume and surface area of rectangular prisms, pyramids, and triangular prisms.
In Social Studies, We are learning about the Silk Road and what it was like for merchants to travel along the Silk Road. We did a simulation pretending we were merchants traveling on the silk road and some people got good weather while others had bad luck and got spit on by a camel.
In P.E. We are doing our volleyball unit with Mr. Hunt and right now we are trying to master our serves and sets.
We are also working on our Trimester 3 Book Projects. We got to read a book of our choice and had to choose from a board game project, a collage project or a movie poster project.
