My top priority as your school principal is to keep our students and staff safe. To that end, on Wednesday, October 22 after school hours, our staff will be participating in a Lockdown Drill at the school with the Schaumburg Police Department.
No students will be involved in this drill. There will be children in the building as part of the after-school program run by Kasper, but they are not participating in this drill.
However, I wanted to make you aware of the drill because there will be multiple police officers and vehicles at our school during that time. Police will have a sign out front stating that there is a drill in progress, for anyone who may drive by and be concerned.
