Hello Hoover Families, 

 

HIP HAWK HOORAY! We’re entering into the month of May on a high note!  A big Hip Hawk Hooray to our 3rd/4th Grade Battle of the Books team! Their hard work and literary expertise paid off, and they are officially moving on to the District Battle on May 11th.  Tuesday evening was full of pride as our talented students’ artwork took center stage at the district’s STEAM Night. It was wonderful to see their creativity and innovation on display for the whole community. Today was both the culminating event for our Young Athletes and a 6th grade field trip to the Schaumburg Boomer’s Game, such a fun way to round out the week! Both our Young Athletes and our 6th Graders represented Hoover so well, and we couldn’t be more proud of them!

 

Hoover’s St. Jude’s fundraising efforts have been another example of why our Hoover community is amazing! With online donations and Herbie the Hawk outside this morning collecting donations, we have FAR surpassed our fundraising goal, and still have donations coming in today! We will share a final total next week. The kindness and generosity of our students and community is second to none!  We are so excited to celebrate with our students next week, please see below for more information!
