In 6th grade we just completed unit 9 which focused on economic expansion. We worked on identifying the author’s craft and purpose for writing. We also just wrapped up our argumentative writing unit that focused on pros/cons of a topic that we chose to research.
In social studies we started our study of ancient Greece and are working on a new science unit about weather. We are very excited for our 6th grade field trip this Friday to the Schaumburg Boomers baseball game!
