Dear Hoover Families,
For the past five years I have been a part of this amazing Hoover community. When I arrived, I quickly learned that Hoover School was a special place. I have been so fortunate to be given the opportunity to work with a wonderful group of students and to be surrounded by such a dedicated and caring staff. I truly enjoyed working alongside each and every one of them as we have built a strong educational foundation for your children.
Additionally, there are not enough kind words to express how much I have appreciated the time and talent of our school parents and families. Your support through our PTA, collaboration with our staff and time volunteering to support our students has enhanced the educational experience provided to all of the children in our school.
At the conclusion of this school year, I will step aside as the principal of Hoover, as I have been appointed as the new principal of the Early Learning Center here within District 54. The district has not chosen a new principal for Hoover School yet, but when they do I promise to work with that individual to ensure a smooth transition for our Hoover community.
As I reflect on my time here at Hoover, I have had the privilege of working collaboratively with an outstanding community of learners, students, parents and staff. We have dedicated ourselves to creating a culture that is child-centered, collaborative, and inclusive while embracing our district’s mission of Ensuring Student Success. We could not have achieved this without all of us working together. I am so proud to have been a part of this success.
It has been a great honor to get to know so many wonderful students, families, and staff members over the course of the past five years and I will have many lasting memories as I move forward. Thank you for your trust, your collaboration, and your unwavering commitment to our students. I will always carry a piece of Hoover in my heart.
With a grateful heart,
Cassie Zingler
