Dear Hoover Families
My top priority as your school principal is to keep our students and staff safe. To that end, tomorrow, Wednesday August 26th, after school hours, our staff will be participating in a Lockdown Drill at the school with the Schaumburg Police Department.
No students will be involved in this drill. There will be children in the building as part of the after-school program run by the Schaumburg Park District KASPER program, but they are not participating in this drill.
However, I wanted to make you aware of the drill because there will be multiple police officers and vehicles at our school during that time. Police will have a sign out front stating that there is a drill in progress, for anyone who may drive by and be concerned.
